I developed a rash on my right thumb that has caused swelling to the point that if I bent my thumb then it would split open. Each time it split was a very painful experience.
January to April 2019
I have tried a variety of things -- home remedies and professionals -- to help it heal. It would improve but never quite heal.

This is my thumb on a good day. I had taken to making a splint out of a cut craft stick and then taping it to the back of my thumb. This prevented me from bending it so easily. This was my day time routine.
At night I would remove the splint, spray it with colloidal silver and then cover it.
These two methods seemed to provide the most healing.
May 2019, the latter half of the month
The one thing that seemed to make a difference was just before going to bed I would cover it with colloidal silver, powdered turmeric and gauze. This created the most improvement and least amount of pain during the day. However, it was more maintaining than healing. I also tried applying different moisturizers during the day to prevent the dryness but nothing made a difference. Sometimes there was even a negative reaction.
June 10, 2019
I began the Plexus 5-Day Pink Drink Challenge. This means increasing my water intake to 1/2 my body weight in ounces and drinking the Plexus Slim Hunger Control once a day. Consistency is the key. After a couple of days I noticed that the swelling had decreased quite a bit and that it was actually improving.
However, my skin would still have minor cracking but not splitting. These cracks would create just enough skin raising up that I was constantly catching the fabric of my clothes and other items. This is rather painful. Which, of course, meant that I would find myself subconsciously removing these little bits of skin. This did not help my cause.

I received a sample of the Plexus Body Cream. I was originally planning on leaving all the samples for my daughter to use. She was born with eczema. We have tried everything and not had much success. I was hoping that the Plexus Body Cream would provide her with some relief.

Understandably, my daughter was hesitant to try something new. After all, a lot of the creams, lotions, etc. had burned and never really made any difference.
I had an impulsive thought: "My thumb looks like my daughter's finger, I will try the body cream and see what happens."
I had only a mild burning that was more of an active tingling than anything else. It only went on for about 1 second and was only where it made contact with the underlying raw skin. I could feel that something was different. The Plexus Body Cream absorbed immediately. There was not a greasy feeling of any kind. This meant that I was able to continue with my responsibilities.
These pictures are of my thumb just before I applied the Plexus Body Cream for the first time. Note: I have reapplied the Plexus Body Cream almost every time after getting my hands wet and drying them. Also, I have continued to apply the colloidal silver, turmeric powder gauze treatment before bed each night.

Today I accidentally cut my thumb with my fingernail as I was trying to grab something. But, it healed quickly and now there is very little sign of the new injury.
